Central Idea: To achieve a balanced lifestyle we need to make wise choices in nutrition, hygiene, and physical and social life.

It’s Halloween and many of us love eating all those treats we are offered!! But, have we ever thought of all the calories we’re getting and what do you think are the consequences?

News News News




The children created skits on the PYP learner profile and attitudes. In groups, they selected a certain attribute and performed a scene while the rest of the class had to figure out the attribute.

Thanks to Isabella who shared with us German artifacts on the occasion of Germany's reunification. She told interesting facts about the break down of the wall of Berlin that once separated the single nation.


Today children celebrated IC Founder's Day. In groups they created symbols and headings that describe IC and what they think of it.

Looking forward to our Halloween celebration next week!

· Don’t forget! On October 30th , we will celebrate Halloween in class. Please send your child with a comfortable costume, preferably hand made and not very frightening. Also, send a bag of Halloween treats with your child for trick-or-treating. (Please adhere to the No NUTS policy).

· Day light saving time begins at midnight on Saturday. Set your watches one hour back.

Environment Tip/News: Going Green by Living Eco Friendly

What Does Go Green Mean? Green can mean many different things to different people. For some, it means simply environmentally friendly and to others means living a life that is not dangerous to the health of people or animals.

· October 23rd is IC Founder’s Day. If you’d like to share your school souvenirs, please send with your child. If you happen to know a senior IC graduate who would like to come and talk to the children about IC in the old days, please contact the class advisor.

· On October 30th , we will celebrate Halloween in class. Please send your child with a comfortable costume, preferrably handmade and not very frightening. Also, send a bag of Halloween treats with your child for trick-or-treating. (Please adhere to the No NUTS policy).

  • We are keen about our work presentation. We developed criteria as guidelines for us to keep our work clear and presentable. So please make sure you write the date and title when you start an activity.

Environment Tip/News: Visit a public park, garden or a zoo in your area and learn more about your environment. Take your friends with you. Take some photos to share with others.
